Pub, restaurant & hotel. Dogs very welcome and a good real pint and food. Last visited July 2015, and by the DwD team in 2021, still as dog friendly as ever and another nice lunch.
This is a fun and characterful building on the A483 near Montgomery. Look up at the chimneys and you might think it has delusions of grandeur from the nearby Hall.
Off the beaten track, perfect for dog walks and a lovely place to stop on your way to/from the Welsh coast.
