Dogs will absolutely love this forest walk with loads of space for zooming around. The paths are easy to follow and it's a relaxing and quiet section of the forest.
Tarbert is likely to be your first stop on the Kintyre Peninsula if you cross by ferry, and a walk to the castle brooding over the harbour is an obvious and lovely way to get a feel for the place.
A popular place to take a break on the A83, with a snack van doing brisk business. The views are tremendous on a fine day.
A walkers car park seconds off the A83 and very easy to find. Dogs are also welcome in the nearby brewery cafe.
Large sandy beach with no dog restrictions. Easy to park and get to from the A83.
