On the A382 but also in the middle of the town, so this dog-friendly pub is maybe best for a stop on your journey when you also need to buy stuff, find an ATM or other town tasks.
Ideal for a dog-friendly stop-over on your journey, this little market town gives you access to lovely walks on Dartmoor and the hills, as well as all the facilities you may need in the town.
I'm guessing that the town would have been a sort of stagecoach hub in days of old, and this is the inn that outlasted the competition.
