A quiet corner of Sherwood Forest that is well worth exploring. Lots of fine sniffing for dogs.
Choose from a number of dog walks here, either across the meadows leading down to a lake, or in the rolling parkland with ice cream, loos and snacks available at the start.
Wild winds and sideways rain was the story here. And still the beach was good for a walk, and the very dog-cafe came up with welcome hot food and soup. It must be amazing in sunshine!
Skellingthorpe has a great dog walk. The path is a path that leads to Newark one way and unsure about the other way.
Big thatched dog-friendly pub with a welcoming woodburner in winter, and a huge garden for warmer days.
Warm and welcoming dog-friendly pub with good food. Fantastic place to use as a walking destination (or even a base).
Dog-friendly beach with no restrictions, and you can also walk there along the cliffs from Lynton through Seachamber Woods, or explore the Valley of the Rocks when the tide is in and the pebble beach...
I love this coastal village. Dogs are welcome in the pub, kippers from the smoke house are just wonderful, and dogs are allowed on the beach.
Lovely, dog friendly cafe, dogs allowed inside on dog friendly beach at Fraisthorpe near Bridlington. Good coffee, cakes and meals also dog snacks and water available
A sandy, rocky beach on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. It's quite sheltered and is dog friendly all year.
Beach and coastal path walk to Bembridge Ledge and back. The path is signed and easy to follow (just keep the sea to your left!)
