Nice quiet sand and pebble beach with marram grass dunes. Dog-friendly.
Pebbles, and steep climb down to beach. There was a kiosk above beach for drinks and car park beyond that
This walk is 0.9 mile, mainly flat terrain. The Royal Inn has plenty of outside eating benches with gazebo covering. Currently open for business from noon each day.
Tree walk with safe enclosure
An uncrowded sandy beach and dog-friendly all year. Much better at low tide.
This is an immensely popular area with local dog walkers, and it's just the place for some bracing sea air. There are several walk options, depending on where the tide is.
Vast grainy beach, and dogs are allowed all year round.
Lovely, dog friendly cafe, dogs allowed inside on dog friendly beach at Fraisthorpe near Bridlington. Good coffee, cakes and meals also dog snacks and water available
Wild winds and sideways rain was the story here. And still the beach was good for a walk, and the very dog-cafe came up with welcome hot food and soup. It must be amazing in sunshine!
Skellingthorpe has a great dog walk. The path is a path that leads to Newark one way and unsure about the other way.
Byland Abbey is the focal point of this walk - a dignified ruin of one of the largest Cistercian monastery complexes in Yorkshire.
