Great dog walk just within the Sherwood Forest boundary, this is a small scale pine wood with well looked after paths and a chatty canine community.
A lovely walk up and over one of the few hills in the Cambridge area. The walk gives stunning views over Cambridge and the surrounding area.
Long, enormous sandy beach. Dogs are welcome all year, and many owners get there early for morning walkies in summer.
A sleepy sort of village near the A303 with a choice of walks and a dog-friendly pub. Just the thing when you and the dog need to take a break.
The Warwickshire landscape here is wonderful, with 100 acres of lush green rolling hills which you are free to walk around.
Forest trail in the Snowdonia national park, with plenty for non-walkers to see and do in the village.
Nothing here, except a car park and the beach. Perfect. The photos here were taken on a baking hot Tuesday in summer and still the beach was completely deserted - wow!!
The woodland here is a real pleasure to walk through with the dog, shady in sunshine, and with a dappled glow on duller days.
A handy pitstop on the A303 with on-lead dog exercising and sublime truckers breakfast. Not scenic, but very convenient and easy for caravans.
One of those delightful hidden gems where there is something to please all the family. While the dog is off enjoying a woodland walk, the house and formal gardens will delight non-dog walkers.
Outstanding dog-friendly village pub that is a real one-off. They are uncompromisingly organic and have Soil Association accreditation and awards for their efforts.
