Troyes city park dog walk, France
This is a large park, practically an arboretum, and fairly close to the centre of the town.

Balaruc-le-vieux is a sleepy village next door to the much more touristic thermal spa town of Balaruc-les-Bains.
Enormous lake, with loads of parking and a sailing centre nearby.
Perfect choice of walks here, in one of France's enormous national forests. You're likely to have the entire forest to yourself, with just the occasional passing cyclist to spoil the illusion.
On a hot day there's no better place for a cool dog walk than a wooded gorge, and this one is fabulous.
Our dogs adored the forest here and although it was in the summer school holidays we didn't see anyone else on the path, which allowed for the dogs to be running free.
A terrific dog walk in the forest away from the popular tourist area. But do try and shift the 137 ton granite boulder as well. It can be done, and looks very spectacular indeed.
A pleasant combo of a country dog walk across fields and a relaxed and friendly dog-friendly pub.
A dog-friendly country pub in a village that seems to be rooted in a cap-doffing, feudal system dominated by the very impressive Hall just around the corner.
This is a great stop for a family visit It's a working farm and zoo with tropical gardens, and quite an exotic place to stop and take a break.
This is a really interesting place for a break from the A1. The cafe is a thriving community hub and very welcoming.
We love this combo of a secure dog park and a cafe with outstanding cakes and great coffee. You can grab a coffee to go and then spend off-lead time with the pooch in a totally safe dog field.
