Portheras Cove is a delightful little beach near Pendeen. There's a problem though - once you've been stung for parking, and clambered down the cliff path to reach the beach you'll see two signs.

There are three beaches at Abersoch and the town beach (by the harbour) has dog restrictions in summer, so avoid this with your dog.
A locals beach a couple of miles along the promenade from Blackpool Tower and Piers. Dog friendly all year round but subject to tides (sea comes right up to sea wall at high tide).
The beach is open all year round but has no facilities. There is a small car park from which you have to walk across some uneven ground through a tunnel where you are greeted by a long open beach
Kilve beach is a lovely rocky beach on the Jurassic coast. It lies about halfway between Minehead and Bridgwater in the heart of the Quantocks.

Southwold beach has summer restrictions for dogs, so head instead for the dog-friendly Denes - north of the main beach.

Ladye Bay is a very pretty small beach surrounded by cliffs. To get down to the beach you park on the road at the top of the cliff.
Kingsand beach is a mixture of sand and shingle (more sand though) with rock pools. It's a lovely beach that stretches along the side of the town. Nice for a visit to a sandy beach in the area.
