Gravel beach with accessible footpath. Excellent for a fish and chips lunch while the dog enjoys a dip!
Bramblebush Bay has some nice grassy picnic areas, and free parking along the roadside. Finding a parking space can be exciting on hot weekend days.
Fab walking over the headland, and also on the beaches. Dog friendly all year, under control as it's a nature reserve.

The Aire de Repose that appear every 20km or so - and always have WCs and usually picnic tables - are a real bonus of the French motorway system.

Way back, even before the Romans, Icknield Street was a major route for travellers and so loads of feet and paws will have trodden this walk before you.
A brilliant walk up to and around the man-made reservoirs that fed Stott Park Bobbin Mill.
Dogs are welcome on the beach here, with one marked section that's 'on-lead' only. The rest is open for doggy fun time. The castle is worth an explore too - well ruined, but atmospheric.
