Fantastic spacious park next to River Tay, lots of benches. Kids play area. Great for walking the dog
Huge forest plantation, looked after by the Forestry Commission. There's a legend surrounding 'The Rock' - a feature more or less in the centre and close to Beer's Bridge. Apparently St.
National Trust managed open space, with several marked trails for the purposeful walker. It's a fabulous environment for a blast of fresh air. Note that the NT has dog rules in place.

Ireland dog walking places Forest walk and close to Rathmelton, an interesting centre of the early linen trade in Ireland. The area was famous for the quality of its flax, used to make linen.
Pretty litle market town with a square to sit and enjoy a coffee and watch the world wake up, and then a pleasant stroll along the promenade with the dog.
Gently shelving shingle and sandy beach with rock pools allowing easy, safe access for dogs that enjoy swimming but are unable to scramble or jump in and out of the water.
When the South Circular gets hissy, this is a useful escape route. By the time you and the dog have enjoyed a walk, the road will be on the move again.
