A straightforward path, ideal for dogs and going all the way around Carsington Water. It's just over 7 1/2 miles for the complete circuit.

A gloriously atmospheric and spooky wood, where for centuries sagas have been told around the fire of the dragons and wierd creatures who lived around the Caves of Weem.
Designated on-lead dog walk around a newly made lake, with poo bins at strategic intervals. You can't get to the WCs or shops/cafes in the services with the dog.
Mainly a food pub with a nice atmosphere, on a country lane, an area of 3 or 4 cosy tables inside is available for visitors with dogs or there are tables outside.
A Dog friendly walk..both on or off lead. It follows the old railway and Canal. There are various routes around and through the reserve.
A fantastic network of crisscrossing footpaths across fields and through a little wood (strewn with bluebells in spring!) Can walk anything from 30 minutes to 2 hours.
There are numerous entrances to this amazing Forest so worth visiting the main Ashdown Forest website for alternatives.

Miles and miles of empty beach. Doggie delight on a grand scale. Also traces of the Romans who used to be billetted here as part of the coastal defences.
