This is a wonderful dog walking park, and the wildness of the park surprises too, given that it lies so close to Manchester and in the middle of a tangle of different motorways.
Worcestershire is a county that seems to hide its fabulous woodland from visitors, and so the ancient oaks on this shortish circular walk may come as a surprise.
