The walk here is all about views, altitude and the wind. It's a short drive from the pub and you could easily spend all day on the roof of the Downs.

New Forest village with shops, tea shop, ice-cream and a number of large car parks. The dog walk is a safe romp around a hill for the dogs.
Within seconds of Jem leaping out for a sniff at the sea and a bounce on the beach, the rain deluged. The beach is all shingle and we couldn't really see anything of the coast path!

Circular walk, starting from Newbold Comyn Park. Three easy stiles, and the possibility of cows in one field. Doggie swimming places along the way, and a dog-friendly pub half-way round too!
Perched high on a hill overlooking the lavender fields is this utterly charming and picturesque medieval walled citadel.
A cool and shady woodland walk around, or up, a hill. It's very quiet here and we saw just one other walker at a distance away.
Easy to spot dog-friendly inn on the Bowness Road, and less than 10 miles from the M6 although it feels longer than that.
