Wow - this dog-friendly pub is really, really historic and the dog walk pases all sorts of interesting features. Well worth an explore and close to the A28 near Canterbury
On the misty morning Jem got his walkies here there seemed to be nobody else in the world and you could hear individual leaves falling from the trees. Gorgeous.
A great place to take a break, with a really easy to find dog walk from the pub garden as well as a good sized children's outdoor play area and a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere inside.
An easy to find dog-friendly dining inn and a good off-lead dog walk within 3 miles of the M25 and also the M40.
Friendly and welcoming village inn serving food that's a 'cut above' but not making a massive fuss about it. And dog-friendly, with a walk from the door. That'll do nicely.
I had a hard time dragging Jem out of this dog-friendly pub where the sweet smells of lunch had his doggie nose twitching in hope.
A woodland dog walk with lots of scamper space, and a dog-friendly country pub too. Very close to the A2 between Canterbury and Whitfield and a good doggiespot to know about.
You are on the edge of the New Forest too so a good dog walk awaits. The pub is nearly within touching distance of the M27 but it offers a warm welcome to dogs and humans alike.
To be fair, dogs aren't exactly the priority here. But - Jem got a fabulous welcome wherever we went, and this is a lovely place to take a break from the A14 in summer.
Not far from Yeovil and the A37 but miles away in atmosphere. It's a tad foodie, but less pretentious than some and the 15th century building is a delight.
A great place for a dog walk, whether you're making a doggiestop on your journey or just looking for somewhere new to walk.
