Country park that's great for a dog walk, with no sheep, stiles or steep hills. Pleasant family atmosphere, and ideal for gentle ambling. The ponds are reservoirs for topping up the canals.
Rocky beach on the south west coastal path, and no restrictions on dogs. There aren't any facilities on the beach, and it's a steepish drive on a narrow lane down to it by car.
A forest dog walk a short drive from Lyme Regis and quite close to the A35 for a cooling stroll with the dog.
One of several country parks along the route of the River Nene, where everyone can find something pleasurable to do.
Shingly beach where dogs are allowed in restricted areas in season - see local signs to find out what the rules are this year.
Near junction of A9 and A86 Stumbled across this little gem by accident while looking for somewhere else. Dogs need to be kept on lead around this lovely little nature reserve based around two ponds.
Quiet and peaceful park that sits over an old Saxon cemetery, and within easy reach of the M25. It's a lovely place to walk the dog.
This is a walk to love or hate.
Close to the A61, this is a good family and dog stop for a break. We love the family trails made by Wakefield Council to keep kids moving, and the paths are perfect for dogs too.
A pretty and popular village with a dog-friendly pebble beach that is a definite part of the community that surrounds it.
Lovely walk plenty of water to play and drink for dogs. Plenty of off lead walking and some on lead.
