This walk takes you around the perimeter of the 'Windmill Pool' and is flat, easy walking.
The dog walk here runs beside the Grand Union canal, formerly one of the pulsing arteries of the industrial revolution but now a haven for ducklings and young canoeists.
Surprisingly rural pub on the edge of the Black Country. It does have a locals' feel, but less so in the summer when it's warm enough to sit outside.
Very easy to get to from the M42, and a nice dog-friendly pub - but the walk is almost non-existent. On the other hand, if you've been stuck in traffic this could well be a useful doggiestop.
Brownshill Green is right on the edge of Coventry, and the walk here takes you past one of the City markers! The pub has a pleasant beer garden away from the road, and dogs are OK in the bar area too.
Historic and dog-friendly pub with quite a story behind it, starting with Cromwell in the building! Now you can still see the old bits but there's modern service and menus; that's a relief.
Stylish modern dog-friendly coaching inn, with all the warmth and comfort of an inn with a long history of looking after travellers. Plus a fine menu, roaring fires and a lovely welcome for dogs.
A great little pub famous for having no bar! You can take your dog for a lovely walk along the canal and pit stop for a fresh cob or pork pie with a refreshing beverage of choice.
A choice of paths here, either along the canal or the river. There's more to see on the canal route, and the path is in good condition.
Thwaites pub with dining. Very dog friendly; treats on the bar and water bowls available.
Traditional inn - dating back to the 17th century - with modern facilities and comforts! Several dog-friendly rooms, and well-behaved dogs on leads also welcome in the bar.
