Based around an Edwardian reservoir, this country park makes a perfect journey break. There's a mixture of meadows and woodland to wander around as well as a circular reservoir walk.
East Carlton Park is a country park between Corby, Northants and Mkt Harboro' Leics. Plenty of free parking after 10am in this lovely old, walled park. Very safe execise for all dogs (and owners).

We've been here twice now with Hank after visiting friends in Northampton, we love it as there are ships to pop in, quite a few are dog friendly, some are not though so do check the signage on display...
Walks in either direction along the route of the former railway from Northampton to Market Harborough. The free car park is at the former Kelmarsh station.
