There are well signed paths leading out from both the car parks here, and plenty of space for dogs to stretch their legs and enjoy some excellent romping space.
A useful park to know about if you're staying in the area, and a good place to start the Barnoldswick heritage trail.
A locals beach a couple of miles along the promenade from Blackpool Tower and Piers. Dog friendly all year round but subject to tides (sea comes right up to sea wall at high tide).

An easy place to find from the main road, and after the dog has explored the park area you can walk into the town from here to see the Castle.
A choice of car parks, some free the others P&D and a number of trails from wherever you stop. It's a popular weekend outing but there's plenty of space and enough walking to keep everyone happy.
