The prosperous little town of Linlithgow bustles purposefully, with fair trade shops and a wide choice of cafes and restaurants. Definitely worth a detour if you're passing through the area.
A choice of fabulously rural dog walks here, with a cafe and roomy picnic spot at the start point. There's even a farm where kids are welcome to explore.
Fabulous park land, which can be reached from the M9 Junction 5 (Northbound) or Junction 6 (Southbound). The circular lakeside walk is a delight, with dogs able to run freely.
