The Clifford Arms in Great Haywood is a traditional country pub offering a fine selection of cask-conditioned ales and guest beers together with a wide choice of freshly prepared meals and snacks.
Very easy to access this oasis of tranquillity off the A51 and an ideal spot for a journey break if you have kids on board.
A nice walk along the River Weaver in the Historic town of Nantwich. Close to the A51 it's a pawfect stop over. Pubs and Eateries abound in the town with regular Farmers Markets.

A barn, converted to become a modern coaching inn and within easy reach of good long dog walks. Dogs, walkers and drivers are made welcome and there's a blazing log fire in winter.
Keen dog walkers can really get carried away here with a web of canals and towpaths to enjoy. And a cheerful canalside pub for refreshments. Excellent doggiestop off the A51.
Always nice to take a doggiestop in a pretty small town with a dog-friendly pub, easy parking and some interesting independent shops. Well worth exploring.
