This is a forest of varying walks for all levels of dog walker.
Homely village pub close to the A350 and with a very easy dog walk starting very close to the car park. No stiles/livestock and ideal for the travel-weary pooch.
Country dining in a popular pub right opposite the village church. Parts of the pub look like an old barn (in a good rustic way) and the garden seems to have once been an orchard.

What a pretty place. The village is really pretty and the walk is a doggy delight. There is so much to enjoy and the pub offers a really warm welcome to people and dogs.
A long straight forest path is an easy dog walk. But you can find all sorts of natural treasures on either side of the path.
Short but sweet walk through ancient woodlands on the edge of Salisbury Plain.
Community owned, dog-friendly pub with unbelievable food. Worth driving out of your way for - and an easy-going stile-free walkies too.
A marvellous dog walk, with an astonishing historic earthwork to keep kids of all ages guessing who built it, and why.
Apart from a dog walk and a lovely pub, be prepared for a full on cute attack here. Views, walkies, overall loveliness - it's all here. Easy for an A350 doggiestop and not bad for the A303 as well.
A 13th century village that has starred in many a film, and is definitely worth making a short stop for on your journey. Or even as a day trip if you're based nearby.
