The walk here is all about views, altitude and the wind. It's a short drive from the pub and you could easily spend all day on the roof of the Downs.
Lying close to the flanks of Burgess Hill, this former commonland has grassland, woodland and a lake. It's a beautiful place to be, especially in Spring when the bluebells are in bloom.
A rustic-style inn with a large and attractive garden, and a welcome for dogs in part of the bar and the garden. Also close to the A23.
