East Runton dog-friendly beach, Norfolk
This is a lovely beach for dogs.
This is a lovely beach for dogs.
Long, long sandy beach with miles of dog walks.
Dogs are allowed on the beach all year round. It's a large sandy beach with the famous strawberry and vanilla coloured cliffs.
Another simply enormous beach with long walks in either direction. This one is best at low tide when dogs can run by the water line, and well away from the nesting plovers higher up.
Dogs with a taste for privilege past and present will enjoy a stroll around a medieval castle keep. It's an atmospheric site and great for visits with kids and dogs.
For a dog walk there's a choice of a walk on the beach, a section of a long-distance footpath or just time in the water with the dog.
Dogs allowed on the beach all year round, and there's a dog-friendly cafe too.
The walk starts at a cafe where dogs are more than welcome. There are plenty of water bowls and the tables have rings so that you can safely attach your dogs leads.
Dog friendly beach, and it's backed by some really interesting nature habitats (where dogs need to be o leads). Lovely for families interested in nature and dogs.
Walk through pine trees and lots of sand down to the water. Dogs and horses go down there.
We set off from our pub base in Wells to find the sea and walked to Holkham Estate and back across the endless sands and dunes.
Miles of pawfect sandy beach and ideal for a doggie play day. Some small nooks in the dunes for sitting out of the breeze.
