A lovely country park with plenty of woodland to wander around and some splendid wood carvings to brighten up the signs, benches and stiles.
We stopped off at Pretty Corner Woods instead of going to Sheringham Country Park. As you turn off the Holt Road, there's a car park , and, further along, two more.
Dog-friendly pub with rooms, right on the sea front and just a paw away from the coast path. Follow the brightly painted houses into the town and you get the whole town and beach in just a few steps.
A landscaped park by Repton which is open all year, and the famous rhodedendrums are at their best in late Spring.
A country inn that's full of charm. Warm and comforting in winter, open and spacious in summer. Since we visited the management has changed at least twice - we think it's still dog-friendly.
The village apparently incorporates a lot of stone and brickswork from the nearby abbey ruins. The child and dog-friendly village pub has a large garden and plenty of parking.
Lovely old coaching inn that's been offering refreshment to travellers since the 1700s. Dogs and children are welcome.
Such a traditional setting, a dog-friendly pub over-looking the green and a village of pretty cottages. Better for less energetic dogs as the walk is on-lead.
Dog walk and swimming. And then you can take refreshment at a comfortable and well organised dining pub with a large garden and good food.
Just the place for some spiritual refreshment, an excellent farm shop and a stroll around the ancient village is a delight. Dogs are generally welcomed, although not in the churches.
A dog-friendly hotel with a dog walk close to an iconic windmill.
