Woodland dog walk, excellent for hot weather, Norfolk
Description
Park at the National Trust Car Park (free for members) and walk into the woods to the left. You can make it a circular walk or just stay in the woods all the time. The path is sandy and very wide, so it is easy to get past other walkers and bikes. Would probable be OK for a stroller/wheelchair in parts. Refreshments/toilets available at local pub or Blickling hall itself.
Details
It was 25 degrees celsius today but only 22 in the woods. Map at the car park, poo bins, views of Blickling Hall from some paths.
Walk
Walk round the mixed woodland to the left of the car park, until you reach another car park and turn right along the side of the woods, At Bunker's Hill, you can either turn right back towards the Tower, and then return to the car park through the woodland, or you can carry on towards Blickling Hall itself and the pub.return via the main car park to Long Plantation and Buck's Common.
