Wander for hours, a different route every day!, Leicestershire
Description
This is a relatively new woodland and lake, and whilst the trees are not yet fully grown, there's plenty of them, and they're pretty tall. It's possible to literally walk for hours as you wander around the clearly signposted paths, plus there is a map in the large car park that you could photograph before you set off. There's a main path that takes you down to the lake, which has some great willow planting and a healthy amount of wildlife. There's a visitors information hut part way along the path, but no amenities.

Walk
This walk takes you down to the lake, but there are lots of opportunities to wander off should you wish to do so. From the car park, take the entrance by the information sign. There's a handy poo bin here if your doggy friends feel the need. Follow the wide, tarmac path, you'll see the wooden visitors information shelter ahead. At this point, take the path on the right. Follow this downhill and you'll see the lake ahead of you.
