GPS coords for parking area: 58.5276, -4.1503 What3Words: ///provide.endearing.loved On the NC500 Park in the layby on the A836, 2 and 1/2 miles to the east of Bettyhill. If there are sheep or cattle around, keep dogs on the lead.
Walk
Follow the track to the east of the car park which winds it's way up slowly up above Loch Meadie. To the gate is about 30 mins. You can turn around there or carry on to the top of Creag Meadie which is a nice rugged climb with fantastic views over the Flow Country, the UKs largest area of peat bog - another 45 minutes. On a good day you can see Ben Hope and Ben Loyal.
