Details
GPS coords for car park: 58.5635, -3.9990 What3Words: ///runs.unheated.trucked On the NC 500 Dogs allowed all year round Turn off the A9 just east of Strathy. Note: if coming from the west it is a VERY sharp turn back on yourself so slow down and take care. Drive past the church down a single track road until you get to the carpark by the cemetery.
Walk
From the car park, take the right hand path down to the beach which is quite steep and uneven in places. There are a variety of tracks, if you want a circular route, go down the path, turn left and walk the length of the beach to where the river emerges. Let the dogs swim here to wash the salt off and then walk up the river to where a small path heads back to the car park. Again a variety of routes back through the sand dunes including a small hill.
