Walk
There are two options. To go left along the beach, walk back over the bridge and turn right past the houses. Follow the short road down into another small parking area and access the beach from one of two path options. To go right along the beach, walk along the grassed area next to the car park and look for the paths leading down to a lower path that follows the coastline. This path takes you past the hotel (great place for a meal) and runs between the access road for the holiday park and the beach.

Great beach walk and dog friendly cafe
After arriving at Powfoot Beach keep going along the road and into a small leisure park. There is free parking and a dog friendly cafe which serves good bar food. All the staff really friendly and the reception has lots of information on walks and tide times.
Getting onto the beach is not for the unsure of foot due to the troughs, but well worth it.
