Oakhill Nature Reserve dog walk, East Riding of Yorkshire
Description
Lovely nature reserve with a variety of routes to walk a dog. Most of the main paths are wide and pretty level. There is a walk round one of the lakes, which has narrower paths which get overgrown in summer and muddy in winter.
Details
Just off J36 of the M62 at Goole. There is a car park at the beginning of the walk which has a height restriction but there is also a layby on the other side of the roundabout where you could park a motorhome and there are good pavements to walk back to the nature reserve.
Walk
From the car park, go through the gate and follow the path to the end. Eventually, you get to a railway crossing. I don't think it's in use now but be careful crossing anyway. After the railway crossing, there are signposts for each walk. Just pick one and follow it. The main path keeps going for a good while so you can just do a there and back.
