I don’t know if we found the path described, but there was a clearly marked path from the car park which lead to a quiet path and lots of grass. Dogs need to be kept on lead because of the proximity of the roads, but there was plenty of sniffing opportunities! The services are also great with a large variety of food and lovely little ‘cabins’ outside for one person to keep the dogs while the other shops. Great recommendation!

Green 132 PointsAccess from North and south services
If you look on google earth you will see the footpath which connects North and South Services (the staff use it to walk between the two). It runs to the side of the petrol station on the South bound services and goes under the motorway to co connect with the path from the North bound services, and as such allows you to access the walk from both directions. The walk is shown as Gilberts Lane on the maps - but is a green lane

Northbound
I have only tried this from the northbound side but the member who added the extra walk seems to think that it is possible from both sides. Hmm we'll be back to check asap

Not visited yet but said to be accessible from both North and South bound carriageways. Walk directions both describe access from Northbound?? Help!

Not a normal motorway service
So dog friendly
What a pleasure to find a service station just off the M5 that has put the dogs needs in place. (As well as for they owners)
Dedicated dog walking areas. Plenty of grass areas away from cars, dog bins, sheltered outside seating and also allowed within the building (selected area only)
Lovely range of fresh food, ice cream, cakes, fresh pastries and vast range of refreshments to buy to take with you
Only down side very busy and nearly as many dogs as owners. Along with long queues for everything.
Though worth a visit for the facilities for dogs.
