Walk
Near Ashclyst Forest if you're up for a really long walk.
For a shorter stroll from the pub, then just take the track that continues when the road stops - this is right by the pub. You'll reach the River Clyst and carry on following the track over the edge of Broadclyst Moor. At a split in the track, and by a farm, this is quite a good place to turn round and return the same way.
Also in the village is Clyston Mill (National Trust) and it's still working. You can sit outside and watch the water wheel, but not go in. It's the other side of the church from the pub.
