Just one mile from the motorway, a great place for dogs to have free running. Created from the old colliery site, varied terrain - hills, plantations, wild flower meadows, ponds, also a level area for easier walking.

GPS coords for on-road parking: 53.7607, -1.4728 Park on Bullough Lane unless the barrier is open. Disabled access only if the barrier is open. Leeds City Council are not great with disabled access to this site, despite what they say!
Walk
Paths in Rothwell Country Park are easy to follow, and there is some access for people with mobility aids.
