Find the perfect dog walk on your journey - Driving with Dogs

Lyth Hill Nature Reserve, Shropshire

Description

A wonderful off lead walk 6km from Shrewsbury, just off the A5 and A49. There are 2 car parks (along a track rather than by the road which is where most people park). It has woodland and open grassland for ball throwing for a quick walk if necessary that offers stunning views to the Shropshire hills. It's popular with local dog walkers.

Details

At the second car park, Shropshire council have information boards and leaflets.

Walk

From the car park there are 2 paths that take you on a circular walk along the ridge and back again. To do the full walk is around an hour so long as you don't stop too often to admire the view.

The open grassland is at the start if it is a quick stop to stretch legs.
