Find the perfect dog walk on your journey - Driving with Dogs

In the footsteps of the Romans, Northumberland

Description

This is a lovely walk along the river Tyne where you can let your dog off the lead. There's a good car park at the start of the walk, but it can get a little busy. Today was perfect. Sun, a slight breeze and lots of friend dogs. We walked along the top of the flood defence towards Dilston, but we turned off and done to the river where I put Brodie back on the lead as the river is quite high at the moment. He loves the water. He's a wader bit a jumper 😁. There are a few safe spots for dogs to have a splash, especially under the old ancient Corbridge Bridge itself.
