Park up at car parking spaces that are just outside camping in the forest reception (this is the bracelands site not the one further down the road) - walk towards the christchurch campsite and you will see some public footpath markers either side of the road - take the one on your right as you get the back of the camping field and follow the yellow footpath markers for the trail - keep following the path and you eventually get to a road - cross this one and keep following the path markers, when you come to the next road turn left and this takes you to the car park at Symonds Yat - then walk back !!!  There is a harder version of this walk as you come across a red trail that is an official walk you're supposed to start from symonds yat however we walked down from the camp site until we came across the red marker for the trail - turned left and followed it all the way to Symonds Yat came through the car park and followed the yellow trail home to the campsite.  BE WARNED - both of these trails have hills in them the yellow trail is not too bad but I still had to sit down at the top (its not that long but is quite steep) the red trail however has some very challenging slopes in it and goes through woodlands and steep fire roads so is not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs.  The yellow trail took us 1.5 hours there and back (not inc a look round the Yat which was a stunning view on a lovely day) and the red trail was about 3 hours
