Either park in the pub car park at The Lion in Farningham (just off M25 Junction 3 M20 Swanley interchange) if you are going to eat or stop there for a drink or park at Westminster Fields in Horton Kirby. GPS coords for start of walk in Horton Kirby: 51.3938, 0.2409

Walk
The walk round between the two with large stretches beside the River are in the shade: perfect for keeping dogs cool. Some parts of the river are deep and fast running but mostly it is safe for dogs and children.
