Walk
Extensive National Forest woodland valley. Two entrances from the car park - the one on the left is pretty steep and is clearly a small river bed when it's wet; the wider one to the right is a well made service road that meanders it's way down the hill so far less strenous and wheelchair friendly. Small stream in the bottom of the valley for paw washing, the website says there is a millpond but we didn't get that far - a walk down into the valley and along and back took about an hour. There is apparently also a 3.4km circular walk but we didn't spot that either, certainly wasn't signposted from the car par park. Pleasant walk and very quiet - the only sound was birdsong, lots of sniffs and space to run
