Cogglesford Water Mill, Lincolnshire
Description
The watermill is only open Friday-Monday with refreshments and toilets, but there is a lovely walk along the river here, and a nature reserve where we saw a kingfisher, and benches to sit and have a picnic. It is not far from the A17, so you can break your journey to King's Lynn here. There is a small car park, or you can park near the church in the town. Plenty of other places in town if you need food. The cemetery also looked dog-friendly!

Walk
Cross the river at the water mill, walking on the right hand side in the direction of the A17, or walk on the left hand side of the river, towards the town. There are poo bins along the path. We don't think it is a good place to let dogs off the lead, but otherwise it is delightful.
