Details
GPS coords for car park: 52.0168, -4.7442 What3Words: ///badminton.landlords.interest There is a large free carpark. Entrance fees to the site apply. Entered from the valley, there is a great cafe (breakfasts are to die for, if you can prevent the tame robins from stealing them) and shop. There are free to borrow mobility scooters - best to phone and book one ahead of time. Disabled people also have free entrance.
Walk
The Iron Age Village site is accessed along a good pathway up the hill through woodland areas. It is possible to climb even with limited mobility, but the scooters are also available - these can be used throughout the site but not inside the huts. Dogs on leads are permitted everywhere except inside the cafe (there is an outside terrace and also picnic benches). Lots of activities and displays for all the family, and you can walk around the animal pens to see the ancient breed of sheep, pigs and horses. The sights, sounds and smells are as fascinating to dogs as they are to humans.
