Excellent for off lead walks and runs, other facilities are limited and the area does not have the best reputation so keep your valuables safely hidden.

Great walk!

The park is actually attached to the Golf Course. There's parking at the entrance which looks like a massive football field, if you carry on driving down the lane, there will be a few more parking bays on the left with 2x wooded areas surrounding. Carry on to the top of the lane and there's a relatively big parking area. It can get busy depending on golfing or football tournaments. There are some actual football fields which are used. There is a pond or 2 for the fishermen and loads of little trails around it. Signage somewhat tells you where you're off too. The main massive field was a landing strip so it's massive. I've walked the whole way round it with my dog and was able to have an encounter free walk but could see plenty of people at the same time. The wooded area has a stream running through it, with a main water area near the main field. There is a cafe near the parking area mentioned above. Plenty of tables outdoors and indoors - you can't take the dog into the cafe to order. I've been here a lot and been all round different the different routes. I've never encountered any thefts or anything previously reviewed. The only downside is that there are very few bins the further into the park you get. Some of the wooded area is very rooty so if you're wheelchair bound or difficulties walking, I'd recommend that you research the route to avoid disappointment.
