I turned right and walked along the woodland path next to the River Brock. An excellent opportunity for off-lead walks and swim in the River Brock (shallow in parts)

Beautiful whatever time of year, but spectacular in spring when the bluebells are in bloom. Lovely river if your dog likes a paddle. Walk can be extended to a full day if you want to walk as far as the A6. Call at Olde Nells for a bar snack? and then back along the same route following the River Brock. No dog poo bins, which means you will have to carry your little friends presents. Unfortunately, some dog owners think this is an excuse to leave their poo bags along the walk ways :(
