Riverside walk along flat path with a dog friendly pub and kids playground, Nottinghamshire
Description
Park at the pub car park or on the street if it is full. Walk across the train crossing and then there is a flat path that goes for about 2 miles running just back from the river. If there are no mobility issues, you can walk along the river path. Almost opposite the pub is Robert's Recreation Ground, an excellent kids play area.

There is a kissing style gate to the crossing so this entranced can't be accessed by wheelchairs

This crossing is not suitable for wheelchairs (park at Burton Joyce Train Station to access the same path using a wheelchair) but it's suitable for people with mobility issues, with dogs on wheels or with prams etc as it's a tarmacked surface |
