Description
St Mawes is a small wharf village opposite Falmouth, on the Roseland Peninsula on the south coast of Cornwall.A tidal beach / marina where dogs are allowed except after 10 a.m. from 1st July to 31st August. A nice selection of cafes and pubs with several offering outside dinning where pets are allowed. This tiny village boasts a bakery, post office, deli, plus gift shops. Quaint cottages with a few grander houses, this is a pretty straight out of a story book.

GPS coords for car park: 50.1603, -5.0149 The postcode is for the main car park.It is a short walk from the car park to St. Mawes Castle (TR2 5DE), small but perfectly formed. Unfortunately it is not dog friendly. Dogs not allowed on the beach between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. from 1st July to 31st August.
