A really big stretch of beach and such an amazing walk! Parking is near a holiday resort but fully accessible by people not holidaying. Dogs are NOT allowed on the central beach from 1st May - 30th September. However they are allowed on the North Beach all year round. And must be kept on the lead on the main promenade. There are signs along the beach with the restrictions & dates & also keep an eye out online for the high & low tides. We have been a few times and have had no issues with Dogs or people. The fish and chip shop was delicious with dog friendly seating areas outlined. There are children's activity areas, however some of these are possibly seasonal with. The carpark is pay & display.
