Kingsand beach is a mixture of sand and shingle (more sand though) with rock pools. It's a lovely beach that stretches along the side of the town. Nice for a visit to a sandy beach in the area. It is dog friendly all year round. Accessed from the main carpark, it is literally 1 minute away. You come out the carpark, go straight ahead, and a slight left and the beach is in front of you. Only saw steps down to the beach so no ramp, but may have one further along.
