Doggiestop between Oswestry and Welshpool, Wales Pub, restaurant & hotel. Dogs very welcome and a good real pint and food. Last visited July 2015, and by the DwD team in 2021, still as dog friendly as ever and another nice lunch.

Sett Valley Trail and Moorland Road dog walk, Derbyshire Sett Valley Trail / Pennine Way, 3.8 mile walk. Parts of this walk are steep, both upwards and down. In addition, the well trodden path has areas of shifting shingle with some deep gullies.
