The Friends of The Arno & Oxton Fields, based in Oxton, Wirral, are running the 2nd Great Arno Doggy Treasure Hunt & Fun Day on the 28th of July.
The day starts at 11 am on July 28th. It is a Great Family Fun Day free event supported by, The Friends Group.
The Aim of the Event is for owners and their dogs to follow a treasure hunt route around the park and the dogs find hidden treats markers, at the end, they will then receive a rosette and their treats for finding them. There will be agility demonstrations supported by Champion Dogs and an opportunity for owners and their dogs to have a go themselves.
There will also be a fun dog show with many different categories where entrants can win small prizes. Dog Wardens, Local Vets, Dog Trainers, Clubs and supporters will be on hand to help with the event to help educate dog owners in responsible dog walking and public awareness as well as the care of their pets and environment.
