Overstrand dog-friendly cafe and beach, Norfolk
Wild winds and sideways rain was the story here. And still the beach was good for a walk, and the very dog-cafe came up with welcome hot food and soup. It must be amazing in sunshine!

This is a lovely beach for dogs.

You can either start this dog walk from the dog-friendly pub, or drive down to a car park by the beach.
A lovely country park with plenty of woodland to wander around and some splendid wood carvings to brighten up the signs, benches and stiles.
Long-established inn with rooms on the coast, overlooking the marshes and close to really long dog walks.
The walk starts at a cafe where dogs are more than welcome. There are plenty of water bowls and the tables have rings so that you can safely attach your dogs leads.
Walk through pine trees and lots of sand down to the water. Dogs and horses go down there.
After a long walk with the dogs over the beaches and marshland of the Norfolk coast, the dog-friendly White Horse is exactly right for some marvellous food while the dogs snore under the table.
Miles of pawfect sandy beach and ideal for a doggie play day. Some small nooks in the dunes for sitting out of the breeze.
Traditional and roomy pub, on the A149 and opposite an imposing village church.
A fabulous old pub where you might feel inspired to start wearing a blue and white Breton top and whistle a quiet hornpipe. Dogs welcome, even salty ones.
