National Forest dog walk near Ratby and dog-friendly pub, Leicestershire
A really delightful woodland walk for the dog, and then afterwards the nearby dog-friendly pub is welcoming and friendly.

Calm and peaceful woodland that's ideal for dogs to sniff and scamper whatever the weather. Lots of little paths to explore. A nearby village has a dog-friendly pub, so refreshments are at hand.
Lovely park with lake in the middle. Lots of duck, geese & swans. Circular walk round lake with plenty of trees & shrubs. Site has plenry of pooh bins.
Warm and extremely welcoming dog-friendly pub. We called in on a mid-week lunchtime and found a busy and thriving atmosphere. For a village inn, this one definitely punches above its weight.
The Woodland Trust run Stoke Woods. It's a great little Wood with a number of routes short and longer. Plenty of parking and easy access off the M40/A43. Hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
This handy walk starts from Cherwell Services, although there aren't many clues to find the start point. Easy parking for large motorhomes and caravans.
A really good family and dogstop less than 2 miles from the M40. Jem got a lovely welcome here, and we all enjoyed the walk.
Gorgeously unkempt commonland, keep an ear out for the dulcet tones of nightingales at dusk. Dogs just love it here.
