The walk here is in a set of leisure lakes, with good facilities and quite a lot going on. It's also a really easy place to get to, and just a few minutes away from the motorway exit.

Definitely worth leaving the autoroute to explore this tiny medieval village, with a couple of very appetising boulangerie / patisserie, a deer park and enticingly dozey atmosphere.
This small town is just on the edge of the Forêt d'Orient national park, and as its well away from the more obviously touristic town, the atmosphere here feels incredibly laid back and sleepy.
There are three fabulous dog walks very close to each other here.

Before or after a ferry crossing this enormous sandy beach is a great place to take in fresh air and sea breezes.
An ideal spot to stretch your legs and exercise the pooch before or after a channel crossing.
Easy to find dog walk close to the M20, and opposite the country showground where Paws in the Park takes place.
If you're heading straight from the ferry terminal to the motorway south, then this is the first chance for the pooch to do a bit of scratching and sniffing on French soil.
Handy dog-friendly pub for dog walks in nearby White Horse country park, and longer treks across the Downs.
